Injection moulding technology

Injection moulding is the most common method for the manufacture of plastic parts. Here molten plastic mass is being injected into a cavity formed by two mold halves. After cooling of plastics mass the item takes its final form.

Injection molding technology is suitable best for mass-produced items as the method is characterized by short production time and favorable unit prices.

The finished items quality depends on the choice of material, item design and construction of the mold. The method provides great freedom for design, and the items can be manufactured with very tight tolerances. With correct design, the products can avoid reworking, for example by embedding securing bolts and other components into the molding process, which confers more complete features and better performance of the product.

DKI Plast acquires considerable capacity of modern fully automated , robot -operated injection molding machines with a clamping force of between 50 and 1600 tons and items weight between 1 and 10,000 grams.
